• Oversee cross-functional teams to create and execute innovative strategies for curriculum, instruction, and technology, utilizing design thinking and evidence-based methodologies.
• Evaluate academic data to pinpoint areas for enhancement, assess intervention results, and guide strategic choices.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to guarantee that professional learning experiences meet the needs of school partners. Identify gaps, communicate requirements, and foster connections with school teams.
• Establish and sustain strong relationships with school teams, acting as a trusted advisor on academic and technology initiatives.
• Assist and support Connections Academy school partners in crafting and implementing School Improvement Plans.
• Relay updates on educational legislation to internal Product & Technology teams.
• Lead Curriculum Small Wins initiatives, championing school curriculum needs and endorsing incremental changes that enhance overall school performance.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure that school requirements shape product development and implementation.
• Aid school partners during the course selection process and facilitate requests for course modifications to comply with state requirements and/or enhance academic outcomes.
• Master’s or advanced degree in Education, Leadership, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in K-12 education, including virtual/online learning settings.
• 5+ years in instructional support or educational leadership roles.
• A proven track record of driving academic results.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Expertise in data analysis, educational technology, and Pearson-developed and/or approved AI tools.
• In-depth knowledge of academic standards, assessments, and school accountability/report card systems.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to manage ambiguity and shift priorities as needed.
• Resourcefulness and adaptability.
