This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee complex, multi-disciplinary projects as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert.
• Act as Project Lead on designated projects, ensuring profitability, scope alignment, project health, and risk management.
• Direct discipline-specific design, coordination, documentation, and technical decision-making processes.
• Enhance design quality and guarantee coordinated, high-performance project delivery.
• Record client-specific processes, deviations from standards, design decisions, meeting notes, and scope clarifications.
• Contribute to Pull Requests, discipline standards, templates, tools, workflows, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with Group Leads, Team Leads, Project Leads, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Build client relationships and function as a trusted technical advisor.
• Assist in pursuits, interviews, proposals, technical narratives, client discussions, and business development efforts.
• Mentor designers, engineers, and production team members through technical guidance, design reviews, coaching, delegation, and feedback.
• Monitor project financial performance, schedules, staffing, scope, billing, utilization, and delivery health.
• Engage in QA/QC, training, internal workshops, conferences, recruitment, and thought leadership activities.
• Conduct site visits, field verifications, programming sessions, and client or coordination meetings as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services.
• Strong discipline-specific expertise in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security.
• Proven experience in delivering coordinated, high-quality designs and making informed discipline decisions.
• Ability to manage discipline-specific segments of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal supervision.
• Comprehensive understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements.
• Experience in contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows via GitHub or similar platforms.
• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficient in Bluebeam Studio.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite and Google Workspace.
• Proficient in GitHub.
• PSP and/or CPP, CDT, EIT, PE, and PMP are preferred or additional certifications.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; TEECOM cannot sponsor visas.
• Ability to perform prolonged desk work and occasional site activities, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Salary range of $145,000–$180,000 per year.
