Principal Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assists in the planning and execution of enterprise Cloud Programs.

• Contributes significantly to FactSet's cloud platform and its capabilities.

• Promotes a culture of innovation and inspires colleagues to adopt creative approaches to problem-solving.

• Collaborates with other Platform Infrastructure Engineering teams to enhance the utilization of cloud services.

• Guarantees the availability of core FactSet Infrastructure services within the cloud.

• Accelerates the pace of cloud migration and digital transformation initiatives.

• Partners with the FactSet security team to maintain a robust security framework.

• Recognizes and executes strategies for optimizing costs associated with cloud services.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of practical experience with public cloud platforms.

• More than 5 years of experience specifically with GCP.

• Demonstrated leadership experience.

• Proficient knowledge of Cloud Computing technologies.

• Strong working knowledge of Python, GoLang, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Familiarity with Docker, GKE, and Serverless technologies (Cloud Run / Lambda).

• Fundamental understanding of GCP and AWS Networking services.

• Awareness of Generative AI and AI/ML tools and techniques.

• A Bachelor's degree in information/computer science, engineering, or a related IT-focused discipline is required.
