This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of analytics, modeling, reporting, and recommendations for Portfolio Management initiatives.
• Develop strategies aimed at enhancing customer engagement and managing risk, which include upgrades and multicard options.
• Improve underwriting processes associated with multicard offers.
• Transform rewards upgrades and purchase incentives into validated strategies that boost engagement.
• Create or refine underwriting and pricing strategies for multicard and line-extension projects.
• Formulate re-engagement tactics for customers with low usage.
• Collaborate with risk, data science, and engineering teams to implement strategies effectively.
• Develop hypotheses, analyze data, and substantiate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Utilize business judgment to evaluate the alignment of model outputs with real-world scenarios.
• 2–5 years of experience in a highly analytical position, preferably in credit, lending, or line-extension strategy.
• Analytical proficiency with line-extending strategies such as credit limit increases, multicard offerings, or other underwriting-intensive products.
• Capability to solve problems comprehensively, from hypothesis formulation through data analysis to defending recommendations with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python for conducting data analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field with a robust academic record.
• Experience with credit cards or other consumer lending products, particularly in underwriting or portfolio management roles.
• Background in building or maintaining risk models utilized for account-level decision-making at scale.
• Familiarity with rewards, loyalty, or engagement initiatives.
• Proven expertise in SQL or Python.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, or Cursor.
• Ability to collaborate with others to achieve desired outcomes.
• Business acumen to recognize when model outputs deviate from reality and explore the reasons behind it.
• Proficiency in Tableau is a plus, but not compulsory.
