This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and evaluate the biomarker and genomics components of clinical or biomarker studies.

• Create Biomarker Evaluation Plans to ensure uniformity across various projects.

• Contribute statistical insights in discussions related to clinical development, including the application of AI and ML methodologies.

• Organize and manage statistical tasks associated with biomarker research and development.

• Design and execute sophisticated analyses of genomics and biomarker data, which includes statistical programming and advanced analysis algorithms.

• Generate precise Biomarker Evaluation Reports and provide interpretations of the findings.

• Proactively tackle both routine and complex statistical inquiries, modeling, and assignments.

• Establish and enforce standardized procedures for regular biomarker assessment analyses.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with AI and ML methodologies.

• Proven experience in independently leading a biomarker study is essential.

• Previous experience in clinical trials; industry background is advantageous.

• Extensive knowledge of biomarker evaluation, particularly in immunology and infections, type I diabetes, relevant parameters, and the underlying biology.

• Proficient in statistical programming languages such as R, Bioconductor, and other relevant R packages for genetic data, as well as Python.

• Experience in analyzing high-dimensional data.

• Experience in managing RNA, Olink, and other biomarker data.
