This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

• Design, develop, and take ownership of backend systems that convert raw enterprise data into structured, meaningful business representations.

• Create and sustain scalable data processing pipelines, semantic storage layers, and version control systems.

• Manage features comprehensively, from data modeling and backend logic to API design and integration layers.

• Make and justify architectural choices, balancing long-term scalability with immediate execution speed.

• Construct robust, production-ready APIs and services that support both internal and external applications.

• Incorporate modern AI tools into development workflows to enhance implementation, testing, and documentation processes.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, impactful features.

• Contribute to engineering best practices and assist in shaping a scalable, maintainable platform architecture.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, Software Engineer, or Product Engineer in a SaaS or product-focused environment.

• Extensive experience in building data-intensive or distributed systems in a production setting.

• Proficiency in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, or similar.

• Strong understanding of APIs, data modeling, and cloud-based architectures.

• Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments.

• Capability to make practical technology decisions based on the problem context rather than adhering to a fixed stack preference.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deconstruct complex systems into scalable solutions.

• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
