This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Define and advance the enterprise Salesforce platform strategy, target-state architecture, and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Create a cohesive architectural vision that encompasses Sales, Service, Experience, Integration, Data, Automation, and AI capabilities.
• Develop architectural strategies for enterprise AI integration, governance, data preparedness, and human oversight.
• Assess emerging Salesforce, AI, and cloud platform features and evaluate their strategic relevance.
• Lead architecture governance via the Design Authority, Architecture Review Board, Salesforce Center of Excellence, and enterprise governance forums.
• Establish enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, technical guardrails, and decision-making frameworks.
• Oversee architecture across applications, integrations, data, identity, security, DevSecOps, AI services, automation, and operational tools.
• Address intricate cross-domain architectural challenges and influence key technology decisions.
• Assume responsibility for architecture related to platform scalability, performance, resilience, maintainability, security, and operational robustness.
• Set platform health indicators focusing on technical debt, release quality, security stance, adoption, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Direct architecture strategy concerning environments, release management, DevSecOps, testing, observability, and operational preparedness.
• Promote platform simplification, automation, dependability, and engineering productivity initiatives.
• Support reusable assets, accelerators, integration frameworks, and architecture playbooks.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to architects and senior engineers across globally distributed teams.
• Engage executive stakeholders through architecture strategy, risk assessment, investment priorities, and business outcomes.
• Cultivate architecture capabilities, succession plans, and technical excellence initiatives.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex architectural decisions affecting the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem.
• Over 12 years of experience in enterprise architecture, platform architecture, solution architecture, or similar technology leadership roles.
• More than 7 years of experience designing and governing Salesforce solutions in complex multi-business-unit or multi-org settings.
• Extensive knowledge in Salesforce architecture, security, identity, integration, data architecture, automation, platform scalability, and application lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in defining enterprise technology strategies, architecture roadmaps, governance models, and platform operating frameworks.
• Experience in architecting AI-enabled solutions, including governance, responsible AI, agent-based architectures, data readiness, privacy, security, and human oversight.
• Demonstrated success in influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional decision-making in large enterprise settings.
• Experience in leading and mentoring globally distributed architecture and engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into business-oriented recommendations and decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Salesforce Certified System Architect and Application Architect certifications.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms.
• Background in DevSecOps, CI/CD, release governance, platform observability, and cloud security.
• Experience in building or leading a Salesforce Center of Excellence.
• Background in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, life sciences, financial services, or manufacturing.
• Experience supporting global enterprise platforms with multi-region delivery teams.
