This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead and develop Intel's engagement strategy for manageability standards within the data center sector.
• Act as the main technical representative to industry standards organizations.
• Assist in defining and implementing next-generation standards for compute and storage infrastructure.
• Influence Intel's strategic direction through participation in standards development initiatives.
• Analyze and synthesize trends within the ecosystem.
• Coordinate internal engineering initiatives with the evolution of the industry.
• Lead Intel's strategy focused on standards-based manageability.
• Convert internal product requirements and roadmaps into relevant standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to enhance industry standards, align with Intel's roadmaps, and facilitate implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, along with 12+ years of experience in system software architecture, OR a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with 8+ years of experience, OR a PhD in a relevant area with 6+ years of experience.
• Established expertise in system software architecture, encompassing firmware, frameworks, drivers, and protocols.
• Proven experience in industry standards communities, ideally in leadership positions.
• Solid understanding of customer, market, and ecosystem needs.
• History of engaging effectively with industry stakeholders.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of distilling complex ideas and fostering consensus across varied teams.
• Experience serving on a Board of Directors or in leadership roles within relevant industry consortia.
• Recognized as a subject-matter expert in software manageability industry standards.
• Strategic mindset, leadership potential, and flexibility in adapting to changing industry trends.
• Must reside and work in the country specified in the job posting, where Intel maintains a legal presence.
• Must agree to and successfully complete an extensive Background Investigation, including verification of education, SEC sanctions, and further criminal and civil checks, in accordance with local laws.
