• Spearhead the design and advancement of agentic systems that engage directly in care delivery, aiding in care coordination, patient engagement, and the execution of significant aspects of care workflows.
• Define and create architectural frameworks for agent reasoning, tool utilization, memory, and collaboration involving human input.
• Develop both reusable platform functionalities and product-facing solutions, striking a balance between long-term architecture and swift iteration.
• Manage intricate problem domains comprehensively — from system design and implementation to observability, assessment, and ongoing enhancement in production.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, operators, and domain specialists to translate complex real-world processes into dependable agent behavior.
• Establish standards and best practices for the evaluation, safety, and operational reliability of evolving systems toward increased autonomy.
• Mentor engineers and shape the technical direction across teams that are developing agent-driven capabilities.
• More than 8 years of experience in building and deploying production software systems, including experience functioning at a Principal IC level and steering technical direction through complex systems.
• Demonstrated success in constructing and scaling multi-agent or agent-driven systems in production with real-world operational accountability (beyond basic LLM workflows).
• Practical experience with contemporary agent ecosystems, including frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Mastra, Claude Agents SDK), observability/evaluation tools (e.g., Langfuse, LangSmith, Braintrust), MCP implementations, and leading AI SDKs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Strong fundamentals in systems and backend architecture, with experience in designing scalable and reliable systems while managing infrastructure, performance, failure modes, costs, and deployment issues.
• A clear mindset for agentic evaluation, including automated evaluations, simulation-based testing, regression frameworks, metric design, and continuous improvement processes. Direct experience in enhancing the performance and reliability of large-scale agentic systems.
• An AI-native builder showcasing high velocity and ownership, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, quick adoption of new tools, proactive action, and the capacity to drive ambiguous challenges from concept to production.
• Excellent cross-functional collaborator and communicator, capable of partnering effectively with Product, Operations, and domain experts to deliver comprehensive systems with measurable impacts in the real world.
• A force-multiplier technical leader, elevating standards for clarity in thinking, system design, and team execution.
