This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Strategy for AI platforms — determining the tools, models, platforms, and methodologies we utilize, including their timing and rationale.
• Decisions regarding build vs. buy vs. adopt, supported by practical experience and defensible opinions.
• Assess, choose, and implement workflow/orchestration platforms, model providers, vector storage solutions, MCP servers, agent frameworks, and observability tools.
• Engage in hands-on deployment and operations — scaling, upgrades, and integrations with Slack, Atlassian, Databricks, AWS, and internal databases.
• Security and governance collaboration with our vCISO — managing secrets, sandboxing, access controls, data classification, prompt-injection defenses, audit logging, and human-in-the-loop rules for critical workflows.
• Development of the knowledge/RAG layer — including ingestion pipelines, embedding strategies, and ensuring retrieval quality and freshness.
• Enablement through reusable templates, primitives, documentation, and debugging support so that the AI adoption lead and business users can create workflows independently.
• Management of model access, routing, and cost — overseeing API keys, rate limits, tracking expenses per workflow/team/user, model selection based on use case, and fallback strategies.
• Monitoring platform health — including uptime, cost, usage, incident management, and security posture. Responsible for on-call duties.
• Over 7 years of experience in infrastructure/platform engineering/DevOps within production settings.
• Practical experience in building and managing at least one LLM platform in production, covering workflow orchestration, model routing, RAG, and agent frameworks.
• Proficiency in AWS and Docker — including VPC, IAM, networking, secrets management, and containerized deployments.
• A security-first mindset — focusing on secrets management, least privilege principles, audit logging, and awareness of prompt-injection techniques.
• Fluency in Python and TypeScript — capable of reading source code for debugging, writing integrations, and not just configuring tools.
• Experience with MCP servers, agentic workflows, sanitization, and modern agent orchestration frameworks in production environments.
• Operation of AI gateways such as Databricks Unity AI Gateway, Portkey, LiteLLM, AWS Bedrock Guardrails, or similar — managing rate limiting, audit logging, and policy enforcement.
• A demonstrated history of empowering non-engineers to successfully deploy solutions on platforms you've developed.
• Competitive salary
• Flexible working hours
• Casual work attire and a startup atmosphere
• Learning & Development budget of 3000 EUR per year
• Customizable benefits — options include free food, bolt taxi, sports, spa & wellness, etc.
