This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
• Create and direct the enterprise security strategy and architecture for AI-driven systems and Azure cloud environments, encompassing identity, network security, data protection, and secure designs for both cloud and hybrid setups.
• Establish and manage security controls, guardrails, and runtime protections for agentic AI workflows, utilizing tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and custom AI agents.
• Spearhead threat modeling initiatives for AI systems and workloads hosted on Azure, identifying and addressing risks linked to adversarial inputs, cloud vulnerabilities, autonomous agents, and new attack vectors.
• Assess AI-generated and cloud-integrated code for security, quality, correctness, and performance while defining enterprise standards for secure code review practices.
• Design and oversee security tools and monitoring capabilities that evaluate, oversee, and fortify AI agents and Azure resources at scale using technologies like Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Integrate security governance into the software development lifecycle and Azure DevSecOps pipelines through Security Posture Management, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and Infrastructure-as-Code standards.
• Investigate emerging AI and cloud security threats, regulations, and industry trends, translating findings into actionable strategies and enhancements for enterprise security.
• Guide and influence engineering teams on secure AI adoption, best practices in cloud security, and adherence to enterprise security standards.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in security engineering, secure SDLC, threat modeling, and Azure cloud security, including the design and governance of security controls for AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic systems in enterprise cloud environments is required.
• Experience in financial services or banking environments is preferred.
• Possession of industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, Azure Security Engineer, GIAC, or similar credentials is preferred.
