This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the scaled agile delivery framework throughout the program, which includes coordinating PI Planning, managing cross-team cadence, tracking dependencies and risks, and ensuring delivery transparency for the customer.
• Ensure that all teams are fully engaged in agile methodologies, including bi-weekly sprint delivery, quarterly Program Increment planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily coordination, demonstrations, retrospectives, and cross-team coordination forums.
• Collaborate with leaders in product, architecture, engineering, data, security, AI, analytics, and user success to align team backlogs with PI goals, roadmap priorities, delivery constraints, and customer requirements.
• Maintain visibility into the delivery flow, program risks, dependencies, obstacles, decisions, and overall delivery health using customer-approved work management, documentation, collaboration, source control, and dashboard tools.
• Assist in the routine reporting of delivery and product metrics, such as deployment frequency, lead time for changes, mean time to restore, change failure rate, burndown, sprint performance, PI performance, velocity, timeliness of deliverables, and quality of deliverables.
• Facilitate regular presentations of functioning software, operational enhancements, research outcomes, documentation improvements, dashboards, APIs, AI capabilities, and other tangible progress.
• Advocate for blameless retrospectives and foster continuous improvement in delivery quality, service quality, collaboration, supportability, operational resilience, testing, and release readiness.
• Direct agile coordination for relevant coverage areas, which include cross-cutting program leadership, product management, engineering operations, architecture coordination, data operations, user success, support operations, and engagement across all delivery workstreams.
• 7+ years of experience in IT consulting, with substantial agile project/program management experience within the federal government context.
• All candidates are required to obtain public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven ability to lead SAFe Agile Release Train delivery or similar multi-team agile delivery within a complex technology, data, analytics, or cloud platform environment.
• Experience in planning and facilitating PI Planning, sprint cadences, cross-team synchronization, dependency management, risk tracking, demonstrations, retrospectives, and continuous feedback loops.
• Proficiency in utilizing agile work management and documentation tools to ensure transparent backlogs, risks, metrics, decisions, and delivery statuses for Government or enterprise stakeholders.
• Capability to collaborate across product, engineering, architecture, data, security, operations, user experience, and support teams to ensure delivery is aligned with outcomes rather than solely ticket volume.
• Understanding of delivery metrics and agile reporting practices that enhance leadership visibility, quality inputs, program increment tracking, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to support documentation, definition-of-done, testing cadence, release readiness, and operational readiness practices across multidisciplinary teams.
• Capacity to comply with customer-specific security, privacy, accessibility, quality, training, and data-handling requirements for assigned systems and data.
