Primary Care Physician, FM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional preventative, acute, and chronic care in a fully remote, virtual environment.

• Enhance remote healthcare by offering compassionate and impactful patient interactions.

• Oversee a dedicated patient panel as their primary care physician.

• Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically appropriate.

• Participate in population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients (AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, risk capture).

• Assist patients immediately after discharge to enhance their understanding of treatment plans and minimize hospital readmissions.

• Engage in continuous self-assessment to ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified in Family Medicine.

• Active Texas medical license with IMLC compact licensure.

• 3+ years of post-residency professional experience.

• A minimum of 2+ years in an in-person primary care role.

• Experience with virtual consultations is required.

• Prior experience with EPIC EMR is mandatory.

• Clean background and medical malpractice history.

• Commitment to 40 hours per week, including 36 clinical hours.

• Availability to work three 12-hour shifts each week; Saturday and Sunday, plus one flexible weekday (e.g., starting between 7:00 am and 9:00 am).

• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

• Strong desire to cultivate long-term relationships with patients and manage chronic care conditions.

• Comfort with managing acute conditions in a virtual format.

• Extensive experience handling more than three cases per hour.

• Enthusiasm for learning about and implementing innovative technology to enhance efficiency and clinical outcomes.
