This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver exceptional virtual primary care via video consultations, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.
• Oversee a panel of patients, providing thorough care for acute, chronic, and preventive health needs.
• Collaborate with the Care and Case Management team to formulate care plans that promote successful patient outcomes.
• Work alongside supervising physicians as mandated by state regulations and practice guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Credentialing Team to secure necessary state licenses as required.
• Uphold patient satisfaction and quality metrics by practicing evidence-based medicine with outstanding bedside manner.
• Utilize telehealth technology to deliver patient care while effectively handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Keep up to date with medical knowledge, treatments, and pharmaceuticals.
• Adhere to designated schedules, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and security regulations to protect patient information.
• Foster a culture of humility, curiosity, and collaboration.
• A minimum of four years of experience providing primary care in an ambulatory or outpatient family medicine or internal medicine environment.
• Proven experience managing a patient panel independently as the primary care provider.
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner and RN license in the state of residence; ability to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.
• Multi-state licensure is highly desirable.
• Current and active board certification by a national certifying body such as ANCC or AANP.
• Must maintain active Medicare status and not have exclusions, sanctions, or reprimands from any state or federal healthcare programs, including Medicare/Medicaid, the OIG, or the GSA.
• Comfort in addressing a wide range of medical conditions, including both acute and chronic issues as well as preventive care.
• Ability and willingness to provide care for patients of all ages across the lifespan.
• A professional, private, and secure home office environment is required for virtual patient consultations.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver empathetic and compassionate care and support to patients and families during difficult situations.
• Ability to manage high patient volumes and competing priorities within a dynamic clinical environment while ensuring quality of care.
• Strong technological proficiency, particularly with electronic health platforms; experience with telehealth is preferred.
