Pricing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement pricing strategies to enhance category performance.

• Create and manage pricing reports and dashboards, identifying requirements and building solutions from scratch.

• Derive insights on pricing effectiveness utilizing ad hoc tools and dashboards.

• Convey findings to stakeholders through clear and precise reporting.

• Extract and analyze extensive, intricate datasets across various platforms.

• Develop reports to compare competitor prices and offerings.

• Assist in refining pricing strategies to meet business goals and optimize profitability.

• Discover innovative pricing strategies based on market trends or customer behaviors.

• Model pricing impacts through optimization tests.

• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and new opportunities.

• Evaluate external and internal data to guide pricing decisions and strategic direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in pricing, retail merchandising, revenue management, or financial analytics.

• Comprehensive understanding of retail pricing dynamics, promotions, and front store category management.

• Advanced analytical capabilities.

• Strong proficiency in Excel.

• Capability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels, including senior leadership.

• Experience in handling large datasets.

• Proficient in querying and analyzing data using SQL-based platforms, such as Snowflake or similar.

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on completeness, accuracy, and follow-through.

• Preference for experience with SQL and BI tools.

• Preferred background in drugstore, mass retail, grocery, or convenience retail sectors.

• Knowledge of price elasticity modeling and optimization is preferred.

• MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

• Experience utilizing AI-powered tools to streamline and enhance report and dashboard creation is preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
