Pricing Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Improve and sustain the company's pricing strategy, framework, and governance structure.

• Oversee pricing evaluations, annual pricing initiatives, and optimization efforts.

• Assess pricing prospects across various products, regions, and customer segments.

• Create pricing suggestions based on market, customer, and financial analyses.

• Administer discount policies, pricing guidelines, and the execution of approval matrices.

• Act as the main escalation point for strategic and unconventional commercial opportunities.

• Collaborate with lead field sales to align growth targets with margin performance.

• Ensure uniformity in commercial pricing across different regions.

• Facilitate deal review processes and governance systems to enhance pricing discipline.

• Generate reports and KPIs that evaluate pricing effectiveness.

• Track price realization, discount patterns, and margin performance.

• Direct price leakage assessments.

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for revenue and margin enhancement.

• Refine and uphold processes for price lists, price books, and controls.

• Supervise pricing-related processes within configurators, ERP, and contract management systems.

• Ensure excellence in pricing execution and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 - 12 years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, deal desk, sales operations, finance, or related fields.

• 3 - 5+ years of leadership experience.

• Proven experience in developing and enhancing pricing strategies.

• Background in supporting complex B2B, engineer-to-order, and run-rate sales environments.

• Strong financial, analytical, and commercial insight.

• Experience working with multiple geographic regions and customer segments.

• MBA or advanced business degree is preferred.
