This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +13 more states.
• Evaluate pricing performance, margin effects, and competitive standing.
• Develop insights and recommendations to enhance the category pricing strategy.
• Facilitate data-driven analysis and scenario assessments to support retail price adjustments.
• Implement approved retail price modifications accurately and punctually.
• Collaborate closely with Category Pricing Leads and Category Managers on pricing projects.
• Verify pricing adjustments after launch to confirm accuracy and anticipated impact.
• Observe market trends and competitor pricing to uncover risks and opportunities.
• Create and maintain pricing reports and dashboards to monitor performance.
• Highlight insights regarding pricing efficiency, margin changes, and competitive movements.
• Ensure adherence to minimum advertised price (MAP) policies established by manufacturers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Merchandising, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Proficient quantitative analysis skills, encompassing pricing models, elasticity assessments, and margin optimization.
• Advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling) for extensive data analysis.
• Familiarity with pricing strategies, including cost-plus and competitive pricing methods.
• Capacity to assess market conditions, competitive positioning, and demand factors to guide pricing decisions.
• Experience in handling large datasets and converting insights into actionable business strategies.
• Knowledge of financial metrics and the ability to evaluate pricing effects on revenue, margin, and profitability.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with a keen focus on detail and data integrity.
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey insights to cross-functional teams (e.g., Merchandising, Planning, Finance).
