This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in the pricing process for bids under the guidance of the Pricing Manager, from the review of solicitations to the final submission.
• Evaluate source documents, historical performance metrics, and insights from subject matter experts to create estimates for duration, costs, materials, labor, and revenue.
• Develop and validate bills of material (BOMs) and bases of estimate (BOEs) for the Pricing Manager's review.
• Aid in the analysis of solicitations by identifying gaps and ambiguities in customer scopes and documenting pricing assumptions.
• Create and manage pricing models that incorporate intricate cost and revenue frameworks.
• Assist in structuring pricing in accordance with contract requirements, including CLIN/SLIN configurations.
• Contribute to the cost and price analysis of proposals from subcontractors and vendors.
• Support compliance with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TINA) requirements.
• Collect market research data as directed.
• Compile and assess financial performance at both project and program levels.
• Create financial models and presentation materials for Program Managers and Senior Management.
• Extract, trace, and verify data from the company's ERP and business systems as required to support estimates and analyses.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is mandatory. Equivalent demonstrated analytical skills and proficiency with tools will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in pricing, estimating, financial analysis/FP&A, or program/project management roles that involve cost and schedule analysis.
• Strong analytical judgment and the capability to work with incomplete information, including an understanding of the appropriate level of precision for the decisions being made.
• Strong FP&A instincts, focusing on analysis and decision support rather than strict accounting precision or reconciliation.
• High proficiency in Excel, with disciplined, structured-data practices (structured tables, Power Query).
• Ability to confidently navigate an ERP system interface: searching records, tracing transactions, and generating or extracting reports as necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in developing and presenting financial analyses.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized, maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
• A strong degree of initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven proposal environment.
• Experience in delivering exceptional service to internal customers.
• Option for remote work.
