Prevention Fellow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Prepare for the certification exam for Prevention Specialist.

• Deliver outreach program content and materials to community members.

• Identify, promote, and maintain external partnerships to enhance the outreach program.

• Research, develop, and facilitate content and materials for the outreach program.

• Schedule and secure resources while communicating logistics to support an outreach program.

• Lead the execution of programs, policies, and procedures by overseeing daily activities for program staff and student and community volunteers.

• Develop and assess curriculum and programs, providing recommendations for enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in primary prevention of substance misuse and/or public health.

• Reside in HHS Region 5, which encompasses Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin, or be able to relocate by the appointment start date.

• Willingness to travel out of state (up to 3 times).

• Must be available from START DATE to END DATE to fulfill the fellowship requirements.

• Project management experience.

• Customer service-oriented background.

• Ability to work effectively with diverse audiences and partners.

• Exceptional written communication skills.
