Preventative Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service.

• Engage with customers in a professional manner, providing explanations of completed work, reviewing safety evaluations, activity reports, maintenance checklists, and other relevant topics.

• Conduct onsite training for customers regarding machine operation and/or maintenance.

• Perform preventive maintenance on TRUMPF CNC machines, which includes laser-cutting, punching, press-brake, and laser-punch combination machines, following checklists and TRUMPF standards.

• Collaborate with Product Support for technical assistance and offer diagnostic insights.

• Work alongside the PM scheduler to plan and schedule missions effectively.

• Submit well-organized mission reports within one day of completing missions, accurately detailing technical conditions and information.

• Provide complete and organized expense reports by the week following credit card transactions.

• Contribute to the enhancement of the PM Group through efficiency and quality improvement suggestions, as well as updates/corrections to PM checklists.

• Select the most cost-effective travel options, whether flying or driving, through the company’s travel agency.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree from a technical school in Engineering principles or a comparable mix of education and work experience.

• Familiarity with computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, and hydraulics is advantageous.

• Must possess and maintain a valid and clean driver's license and driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.

• Willingness to travel nationwide 100%, which includes overnight stays and occasional weekend travel.
