Prescribing Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive management of mental health medications through a 60-minute intake session and ongoing follow-up visits.

• Perform mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and ongoing medication management.

• Develop patient-focused treatment plans, document recommendations, communicate with patients, and prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications.

• Demonstrate experience and dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based medication treatment that adheres to clinical best practice guidelines (such as measurement-based care, patient-centered approaches, careful monitoring, and efforts to minimize medication risks while maximizing benefits).

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE, with a preference for a Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, a post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or other academic psychiatry certificate program completion, including a Doctor of Medical Science with a Psychiatry concentration.

• Hold an unrestricted state license in Indiana.

• Have at least 2 years of practice experience.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs possessing an active DEA license.

• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.

• Must have office space available for client consultations.

• Ability to provide care to patients with a diverse range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers who can offer in-person services.

• Full-time resident of the United States.
