Prescribing Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through a 60-minute intake session and ongoing follow-up appointments.

• Perform mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and long-term medication treatment.

• Develop patient-centered treatment plans, document treatment recommendations, communicate with patients, and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.

• Demonstrate experience and dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based medication treatment that adheres to clinical best practice standards (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care, careful attention, minimizing medication risks, and maximizing benefits).

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program (CCNE); OR a graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE, preferably holding a Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, a post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or a completed academic psychiatry certificate program, including a Doctor of Medical Science with a Psychiatry concentration.

• Possess an unrestricted state license in Michigan.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs who hold an active DEA license.

• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.

• Must have office space available for client consultations.

• Ability to provide care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers who can offer in-person consultations.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
