This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Prepare financial documents for the tax consultant.
• Assist in processing invoices.
• Monitor payment deadlines.
• Aid in liquidity summaries and perform basic analyses.
• Provide administrative support to project teams working on grant-funded initiatives.
• Generate reports, gather documentation, and track project-related expenditures.
• Assist executive management with organizational and administrative tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage deadlines.
• Gradually take on responsibilities in personnel administration and onboarding processes.
• Organize documents, files, and workflows.
• Act as the primary contact for the tax consultant, funding organizations, and other external stakeholders.
• Ideal for entry-level individuals and those transitioning careers.
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated working style.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new subjects.
• Regular and confident usage of Google Sheets.
• Proficient in utilizing formulas, pivot tables, and maintaining organized spreadsheet structures.
• Eagerness to learn and enhance existing budget and liquidity models.
• Comfortable and proactive engagement with Claude or ChatGPT in daily tasks.
• AI-first approach and appropriate application of AI tools.
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for structuring information and comprehending relationships.
• Ability to conduct independent research and work towards solutions.
• Friendly and professional communication skills.
• Enjoy working collaboratively with diverse individuals and fostering a strong team spirit.
• Basic knowledge of accounting is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Direct collaboration with executive management.
• Gain insight into decision-making processes and ownership of your own projects from the outset.
• Experience a steep learning curve in nonprofit financing, grants, and finance & administration operations.
