Prescribing Nurse Practitioner – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Provide thorough mental health medication management through a 60-minute intake session followed by regular follow-up visits.

• Perform mental health risk evaluations, psychiatric medication assessments, and ongoing medication treatment.

• Develop patient-focused treatment strategies, document treatment suggestions, communicate with patients, and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.

• Demonstrate experience and dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based medication treatment in accordance with clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered approaches, careful attention to minimizing medication risks, and maximizing their benefits).

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE, preferably holding a Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, completion of a post-graduate psychiatry fellowship, or other recognized academic psychiatry certificate programs, including a Doctor of Medical Science with a Psychiatry concentration.

• Hold an unrestricted state license in Nebraska.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs who possess an active DEA license.

• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience with pediatric patients.

• Must have office space available to see clients.

• Capable of providing care to patients across a spectrum of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers offering in-person options.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
