Presales Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Managers to discover, qualify, and secure intricate enterprise opportunities.

• Create and showcase comprehensive networking solutions that align with customer business goals.

• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and Proofs of Concept.

• Formulate technical proposals and solution architectures tailored for enterprise clients.

• Position HPE Networking solutions against competitors and convey their business value.

• Cultivate lasting relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.

• Assist in demand-generation initiatives alongside channel and technology partners.

• Stay knowledgeable about emerging networking technologies and competitive market dynamics.

• Lead opportunities from initial discovery to deployment and customer onboarding.

• Travel within the designated territory for customer engagements, presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with Juniper Networking products, including MX, SRX, QFX, and EX.

• Familiarity with HPE Aruba WiFi, Central, and ClearPass.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with over 8 years in a related field, or a Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience.

• Strong background in presales, systems engineering, or infrastructure engineering supporting enterprise clients.

• Exceptional customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling abilities.

• Capacity to transform complex technical concepts into straightforward business value.

• Experience with high-density enterprise wireless LANs.

• Understanding of Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing, including BGP and OSPF.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IP addressing, and subnetting.

• Familiarity with Network Access Control solutions such as Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE.

• Comprehension of enterprise routing, switching, and campus networking.

• Proficiency in Python scripting and network automation frameworks.

• Awareness of cloud-managed networking platforms and cloud technologies.

• Must reside in the New Jersey / New York Metro area.

• Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is necessary.
