Presales Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with potential and current clients to comprehend their business and technical needs, showcasing how Fortinet’s Security Fabric meets their security challenges.

• Create and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

• Work closely with sales teams, partners, and fellow systems engineers, as well as solution architects, consulting systems engineers, and other internal stakeholders.

• Contribute significantly to winning strategic clients, expediting deal cycles through technical leadership, and aiding organizations in constructing secure, scalable architectures with Fortinet solutions.

• Provide engaging, informative, and customer-centric demonstrations that highlight Fortinet’s leading technology and innovation.

• Facilitate technical enablement sessions for Fortinet partners.

• Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of PoCs using Fortinet solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong enthusiasm for IT security and a commitment to continuous growth in a dynamic, rapidly changing industry.

• Practical experience in networking and/or IT security obtained at a vendor, system integrator, service provider, consulting firm, or within an enterprise IT setting. Pre-sales experience is beneficial, but technically proficient engineers with a customer-facing ambition are also encouraged to apply.

• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively. Approximately 80% of customer interactions will be conducted in German and 20% in English; fluency in both languages is essential.

• Act as a trusted advisor, combining extensive technical knowledge with a strong customer focus and the ability to differentiate Fortinet’s offerings from competitors.
