This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Act as a reliable technical consultant for HPE Networking Account Managers, Channel Partners, and customers throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with account managers to formulate account strategies, assess opportunities, and achieve technical victories.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to identify business motivations, technical needs, and modernization objectives.
• Perform technical evaluations, recognize gaps and risks, and establish solution methodologies.
• Design and architect comprehensive HPE Networking solutions across campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and security sectors.
• Propose solutions that are in line with customer business goals and modernization plans.
• Provide tailored technical presentations, product demonstrations, and virtual interactions.
• Assist with proposals, RFP/RFI responses, bills of materials, and solution documentation.
• Work alongside senior engineers, architects, and specialists on intricate opportunities.
• Keep up-to-date with HPE Networking portfolios, including Juniper and Aruba technologies.
• Remain informed about trends in AI-Ops, Zero Trust, NaaS, AI-driven networking, and campus fabric.
• Evaluate competitive technologies and articulate HPE's unique advantages.
• Broaden technical and industry knowledge through certifications and professional growth.
• Over 4 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or a customer-focused technical role.
• Strong grounding in networking technologies, including campus, wireless, routing, and WAN.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust frameworks.
• Consultative mindset for addressing customer challenges.
• Ability to identify business goals and align technology solutions with measurable results.
• Proficient in leading discovery discussions.
• Capable of translating intricate technical concepts into business-relevant benefits.
• Experience in guiding customers through solution assessment and decision-making processes.
• Practical experience in solution design and architecture.
• Ability to align solutions with customer environments.
• Capability to collaborate with account managers, architects, and specialists.
• Skilled in managing multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, high-volume inside sales setting.
• Strong presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications preferred: Aruba ACA / ACP, Juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet FCA/FCP, CWNA.
