This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Collaborate with account teams to assess and comprehend customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
• Design and propose customized infrastructure solutions that align with clients' business goals.
• Establish and nurture technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners, while keeping abreast of the latest product developments.
• Deliver product training and technical education to both the sales team and customers.
• Serve as a trusted IT advisor for clients, partnering closely with Field Account Executives.
• Oversee the solution practice pipeline by formulating strategies for key prospects and generating new business.
• Identify and explore technological opportunities within the Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services domains.
• Create solutions tailored to customers’ needs and budgets through effective strategic planning.
• Engage with various levels of client contacts, including CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs, to ensure comprehensive account management.
• Educate and develop sales teams on technical selling, product training, services, and technological trends.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products, such as switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, and Meraki, along with familiarity with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW).
• Strong understanding of technical network solutions including route/switch, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud edge, virtual networking, secure access, and network visibility.
• Proficiency with similar products and solutions from other vendors such as Aruba, Juniper, HPE, Arista, etc.
• Experience in software-defined networking technologies including SDDC, SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, etc.
• Advanced certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, ACSP.
• Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
