Presales Solutions Architect – Mendix

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions to gain insights into customer challenges, business goals, and modernization efforts.

• Create solution architectures that utilize Mendix, ICX, AI services, and enterprise systems.

• Organize technical workshops, architecture discussions, and executive presentations.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the sales process.

• Provide engaging business and technical demonstrations customized to customer scenarios.

• Design and implement proof-of-concepts and prototype applications using Mendix.

• Illustrate integration capabilities with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud services, and AI technologies.

• Highlight best practices for application governance, scalability, security, and lifecycle management.

• Position and showcase Intelligence Center X (ICX) as an integral part of Siemens' overarching AI and digital transformation strategy.

• Assist clients in understanding how to utilize enterprise data, AI, and intelligent automation to enhance business results.

• Create and demonstrate AI-driven business applications leveraging Mendix, ICX, and Generative AI technologies.

• Develop tailored demonstrations for clients that feature intelligent workflows, copilots, assistants, predictive insights, and automation use cases.

• Educate clients on AI architecture models, including agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, and enterprise AI governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Mendix application development, architecture, or consulting.

• Practical experience with Generative AI technologies such as LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases, and enterprise AI platforms.

• Background in integrating AI services with enterprise applications and business processes.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Experience in presenting technical solutions to both business and executive stakeholders.

• Currently certified as a Mendix Developer, Advanced Developer, or Expert (Bonus).

• Experience building applications using Mendix in a customer-facing or enterprise context (Bonus).

• Background in developing AI-powered applications, copilots, intelligent assistants, or agentic workflows (Bonus).

• Passion for creating demos and proof-of-concepts that connect business value with innovative technology (Bonus).
