Presales Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• In the role of Presales Enterprise Architect, this individual will concentrate on the overarching IT architecture of a customer at a strategic level, taking into account the customer’s business objectives, long-term technical requirements, and limitations.

• The Enterprise Architect will design and propose solutions that cater to enterprise-wide initiatives, frequently spanning multiple domains, departments, or systems.

• The focus of the Enterprise Architect is on how different solutions integrate to support the business strategy and enhance scalability across the entire organization.

• The presales Enterprise Architect is expected to align customer strategic roadmaps, OEM strategic roadmaps, and Blue Mantis product roadmaps by collaborating closely with practice managers, principals, and leadership to maintain ongoing relevance within the current customer base as well as market entry strategies.

• The Enterprise Architect will actively promote and represent Blue Mantis at customer, industry, and symposium events as a highly skilled public speaker, capable of engaging with both C-suite executives and hands-on engineers simultaneously.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, particularly in enterprise solutions within a pre-sales or consulting role.

• Prior experience with managed services providers (MSP) or systems integrators (SI) is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience working with large enterprise clients, crafting end-to-end IT solutions.

• Proficiency in enterprise IT architecture, encompassing cloud computing, networking, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, unified communications, and data management.

• Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and software-as-a-service (SaaS) models.

• Experience with technologies from Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, HP, Dell, VMware, Nutanix, and Pure Storage.

• Thorough understanding of enterprise networking and security technologies.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2.

• Proficient in designing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.

• Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and Ansible.

• Experience with solution architectures across various sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and retail.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Cisco CCIE, VMware VCP, and TOGAF.

• ITIL or other service management frameworks certifications are advantageous.
