Presales Engineer, Solution Architect – Physical Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Design comprehensive enterprise physical security solutions, encompassing video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and IoT-connected devices.

• Collaborate with Account Executives during the pre-sales process.

• Engage with clients to gather business, security, and technical requirements.

• Perform site assessments and technical evaluations.

• Create solution designs, configurations, and implementation recommendations.

• Prepare precise technical proposals.

• Lead client proofs of concept and product demonstrations.

• Simplify complex technical concepts into easily understandable solutions for clients.

• Work in conjunction with vendor and manufacturer teams.

• Partner with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.

• Support large-scale and multi-site enterprise deployments.

• Provide training on solutions and products to sales teams and clients.

• Act as a technical resource and mentor for other team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of technical pre-sales experience.

• Significant experience with enterprise physical security systems.

• Proficiency in video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and connected/IoT security devices.

• Experience in designing and delivering integrated technology solutions.

• Proven track record in supporting large-scale and multi-site enterprise deployments.

• Strong foundational knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.

• Familiarity with low-voltage cabling standards and integrated building technologies.

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience collaborating with IT, facilities, and security stakeholders.

• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.

• Willingness to travel nationally to meet clients.

• Verkada Certified Engineer (VCE).

• VCE – Access Control Specialist.

• VCE – Video Security Specialist.

• VCE – Alarms Specialist.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Security Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
