Presales Consulting Manager – HPE Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of presales professionals spanning various presales functions.

• Establish direction, manage deliverables, and meet revenue and expense targets.

• Address customer issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Serve as the representative for the designated area to sales and company leadership.

• Cultivate strategic executive relationships with both external clients and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with both internal and external resources to create customer solutions.

• Oversee individual and team performance while nurturing organizational talent.

• Develop presales utilization strategies and address regional resource gaps.

• Work alongside sales managers to evaluate pipelines and allocate presales resources effectively.

• Track and enhance operations, business practices, and organizational performance.

• Guide employees through sales challenges and manage varying performance levels.

• Inspire presales teams and assist in the pursuit and closure of deals.

• Cultivate talent and endorse skill development initiatives.

• Ensure robust technical knowledge throughout the presales team.

• Assist sales teams in tailoring solutions based on client requirements.

• Mentor on consultative selling techniques and foster trusted advisor relationships.

• Develop business cases that connect proposals to customer objectives, strategies, and performance metrics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.

• Over 10 years of experience in network engineering.

• At least 7 years of experience in managing people.

• Familiarity with Juniper technologies.

• Proven management experience with a track record of supporting progressively higher quotas or sales objectives.

• Demonstrated skills in project management.

• Understanding of business management, budget forecasting, operations, and process improvement.

• Proficient in resource allocation and brokering.

• Skills in business development and strategic account support.

• Negotiation skills within the organizational context.

• Proficient in consultative and solution-oriented selling.

• Strong presentation and communication abilities.

• Capability to build robust customer relationships.

• Knowledge of workforce planning, career development, and workforce management.

• Skills in coaching, supervision, performance management, and talent development.
