Predictive Analytics Manager I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create and implement predictive models utilizing advanced statistical and machine learning methodologies, including regression, clustering, decision trees, and neural networks.

• Develop and sustain programs for predictor and response variables, ensuring the accuracy and scalability of models.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs, translate those into analytical solutions, and clearly communicate actionable insights.

• Present analytical results to non-technical audiences, detailing methodologies, data sources, and the impact on business.

• Investigate, prepare, and organize large internal and external datasets to facilitate model development and enhancement.

• Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of modeling frameworks, processes, and best practices.

• Maintain data quality and model integrity through thorough validation and review processes.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the data landscape, including sourcing, mapping, and integrating data across various systems.

• Assist with enterprise data initiatives, encompassing data migration and transformation programs.

• Collaborate with and mentor junior analysts, sharing expertise and advocating for best practices.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, particularly in the realms of insurance analytics and predictive modeling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in predictive analytics, data science, or a related discipline.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related area.

• Professional experience in insurance or pricing analytics is highly advantageous.

• Proficient in Python, R, and SQL.

• Familiarity with SAS is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques.

• In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining.

• Advanced skills in data preparation and feature engineering.

• Strong comprehension of data ecosystems and the ability to navigate intricate data environments.

• Capability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present analytical findings to varied audiences.

• Problem-solving attitude with the capability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.

• Experience in contributing to or establishing analytics capabilities from the ground up is highly regarded.

• Collaborative and proactive demeanor, with a readiness to share knowledge and mentor others.

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams within data-driven settings.

• Valid local legal authorization to work in Mexico at the time of hire.
