Prediction Markets Manager, Culture & Crypto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the comprehensive strategy, implementation, and performance of non-sports prediction markets across various categories, including cryptocurrency, politics, stocks, commodities, macroeconomics, artificial intelligence, culture, and current events.

• Propel business results by overseeing essential performance metrics such as engagement, retention, market quality, volume, and revenue.

• Recognize emerging narratives, trends, and real-world occurrences that resonate with customers and convert them into engaging prediction market opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Team, Marketing Team, Analytics Team, Customer Experience Team, Legal Team, Compliance Team, Public Relations Team, and external partners in the prediction market to achieve business goals.

• Create and refine operational processes that facilitate the swift launch, monitoring, and management of prediction markets at scale.

• Utilize data, market insights, and sound judgment to make prompt, high-quality decisions in a dynamic environment.

• Assess market performance, customer behavior, and industry trends to consistently enhance market offerings and customer engagement.

• Act as a subject matter expert on prediction markets and emerging topics, aiding in the formulation of strategic priorities across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, strategy, business management, consulting, finance, trading, media, or a rapidly growing technology setting.

• Experience taking ownership of business outcomes, operational performance metrics, or Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities.

• Strong understanding of financial markets, cryptocurrency, politics, macroeconomics, technology trends, consumer behavior, or related fields.

• Proven capacity to function effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous settings while managing multiple priorities.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to leverage data for decision-making and driving results.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and aligning teams around common objectives.

• A proactive, ownership-oriented approach with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and executing with urgency.

• A sense of curiosity, commercial insight, and a keen instinct for grasping the trends, narratives, and events that attract customer interest.
