Crypto Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the daily oversight and surveillance of all customer activities.

• Accountable for daily operational functions including trading, new account setups, and cash management tasks.

• Execute cryptocurrency trading and manage exceptions (errors, corrections, etc.).

• Assist with customer onboarding processes, encompassing KYC and account approval.

• Review general ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and reconcile accounts.

• Support the Anti-Money Laundering Program and assist with investigations related to suspected suspicious activities.

• Proactively initiate significant improvements across workflows, policies, and tools.

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external partners in a tactical and insightful manner.

• Perform ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

• Work remotely on a global scale, with core hours from 9am to 5pm PT (totaling 8 hours per day, observing US market holidays).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a broker-dealer, financial services, trading, or cryptocurrency operations role.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency, or a strong willingness to learn.

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team while also being capable of independent work.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Must demonstrate adaptability to a rapidly evolving business and regulatory landscape.
