
Preconstruction Due Diligence Consultant – EV Construction Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the initial and essential phase of site selection and planning for electric vehicle service centers.
• Handle multiple simultaneous projects in a dynamic environment.
• Coordinate the comprehensive due diligence process for potential new site acquisitions.
• Analyze third-party reports and offer actionable insights regarding site viability.
• Identify and communicate site-specific risks, suggesting mitigation strategies.
• Assess site access and circulation, including traffic patterns and feasibility studies.
• Review and summarize landlord work letters and associated conditions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill operational requirements.
• Work in conjunction with the entitlements team to address permitting challenges.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in zoning, entitlements, and due diligence for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-site development programs within a fast-paced setting.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with a background in influencing cross-functional teams and external agencies.
• Capability to manage competing priorities and achieve results under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with EV infrastructure, electrical systems, and planning for service facilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience with executive-level reporting and presentations.
