Precertification Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provide daily leadership, guidance, coaching, and operational support to the precertification team.

• Cultivate a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work atmosphere focused on collaboration, professionalism, and customer service.

• Track team productivity, quality, attendance, and performance metrics to ensure that departmental objectives are consistently met.

• Conduct regular staff audits, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations to uncover opportunities for improvement and professional development.

• Assist with the hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing education of both new and existing team members.

• Set an example through professionalism, accountability, communication, and adherence to company standards and policies.

• Promptly escalate operational concerns, staffing challenges, workflow obstacles, or performance issues to leadership.

• Support change management initiatives, workflow improvements, and the implementation of operational best practices.

• Facilitate communication across departments to enhance operational efficiency and continuity of care.

• Ensure that workload distribution is appropriately balanced among team members based on departmental priorities and staffing requirements.

• Encourage continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, patient satisfaction, and overall departmental performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, or insurance authorization is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven leadership capabilities with experience in team management, staff coaching, and driving operational performance.

• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning new software systems.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

• Capacity to analyze operational data and make informed decisions to enhance workflows, productivity, and quality outcomes.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
