
Practice Director – Microsoft Cloud, AI Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take full P&L accountability for the Practice Area.
• Establish and track revenue, margin, and pipeline objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Sales leadership and team members to enhance pipeline growth, shape opportunities, and facilitate strategic agreements.
• Ensure consistent performance through effective commercial management.
• Define and uphold a unified go-to-market narrative throughout the Practice Area.
• Equip Sales and Marketing with outcome-focused propositions.
• Manage senior relationships with Microsoft and pertinent partners to guarantee alignment, program leverage, and successful joint execution.
• Set the strategic vision and continuously refine the service portfolio in areas such as AI adoption, productivity, and communications.
• Uphold standards, handle escalations, and integrate continuous improvement across all projects and managed services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the three Practice Leads.
• Significant experience in IT services/consulting, including senior leadership roles within a practice or service line (e.g., Head of Practice, Practice Lead, Service Line Director, or equivalent).
• Must have P&L responsibility or substantial revenue/target ownership in their current position.
• Profound knowledge of Microsoft’s Cloud, Data/AI, or Modern Workplace solutions, with experience in crafting go-to-market strategies and service offerings.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales pipeline (in collaboration with sales teams) and ensure delivery quality in their area of expertise.
• Strong leadership history – managing teams and nurturing talent.
• Comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders and interfacing directly with customers.
• Proven collaborative mindset, working cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and partners.
• A strategic, entrepreneurial perspective – enthusiastic about “running their own business” within a larger framework.
