This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus, +4 more states.
β’ Take ownership of the global PR narrative, focusing on key markets, media strategies, narrative pillars, and coverage goals for the next six months.
β’ Manage the agency portfolio by overseeing briefs, KPIs, monthly evaluations, scope consolidation, and decisions regarding renewals or exits.
β’ Control the news pipeline encompassing product launches, significant milestones, data insights, partnerships, and commentary within the industry.
β’ Guide the positioning of founders and executives across various speaking platforms, including keynotes, podcasts, op-eds, LinkedIn, awards, and rankings.
β’ Oversee reputation management and crisis communications, which includes developing risk maps, holding statements, escalation protocols, and training for spokespersons.
β’ Establish and nurture senior media relationships with key outlets independent of agency involvement.
β’ Direct the events and side-events program in collaboration with the Event Manager.
β’ Ensure external messaging aligns with the brand platform and product narratives, serving as the final gatekeeper for communications.
β’ Develop the media narrative for a regulated and often misunderstood category in partnership with Compliance.
β’ Define and assess PR KPIs that encompass coverage quality, share of voice, message resonance, executive visibility, and cost per outcome.
β’ A minimum of 6 years in PR or communications, with direct experience in managing external agencies as a client and ensuring accountability for results.
β’ Proven ability to shape or secure tier-1 business, financial, fintech, or crypto media coverage.
β’ Real-world experience in crisis communications, particularly within a scrutinized or regulated sector.
β’ A demonstrated history of founder or executive communications, establishing a credible public presence from a minimal starting point.
β’ Exceptional news judgment and a very high standard of written English.
β’ Experience with major events, conference programs, sponsorships, and partnership communications.
β’ Comfortable collaborating with Legal and Compliance teams on sensitive external communications.
β’ Commercial understanding of agency expenditures, retainers, costs, and outcomes.
β’ Proficiency in English.
β’ Experience in crypto or digital assets media is a plus.
β’ Knowledge of additional languages relevant to priority markets is advantageous.
