Public Relations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead Hitachi Vantara’s public relations initiatives for technology, infrastructure, and partner programs across business, technology, and vertical media, primarily focusing on North America.

• Foster and sustain positive relationships with media outlets in the technology and channel partner sectors.

• Create diverse content such as press releases, messaging documents, FAQs, blogs, byline articles, abstracts for speaking opportunities, and presentations.

• Collaborate with teams in product and revenue marketing, executive communications, customer advocacy, partner marketing, analyst relations, and social media.

• Partner with PR agencies to formulate media strategies and implement program components.

• Generate media coverage while ensuring precise tracking and reporting of content.

• Enhance Hitachi Vantara’s reputation as a leader in technology solutions for AI-enabled data storage requirements.

• Report to the Senior Director of Global Communications within the Global Corporate Marketing and Communications team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in supporting public relations programs.

• Experience in-house and/or within a public relations agency is essential.

• Familiarity with global B2B technology, software, or services companies is an advantage.

• Strong writing and storytelling skills are crucial.

• Capability to craft engaging messaging for press releases, messaging documents, press presentations, bylines, blogs, and FAQs.

• Understanding of the technology and data trends landscape.

• Ability to quickly develop responses to urgent situations that require messaging or external media engagement.

• Proven track record of producing high-quality work calmly and judiciously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
