Head of Public Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Create and execute a detailed public relations strategy that aligns with Qualtrics' business goals.

• Build and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers; pitch stories and attain media coverage.

• Guide, mentor, and develop a high-achieving global PR team.

• Manage global agency partnerships, establish objectives, and perform performance assessments.

• Design and oversee crisis communication plans and quick-response strategies.

• Work in conjunction with content and marketing teams on press releases, media kits, and communication materials.

• Organize and carry out media events to enhance thought leadership and boost media visibility.

• Monitor and evaluate PR performance metrics, reporting on media coverage, sentiment, and brand reputation effects to senior leadership.

• Collaborate with executives, product marketing, customer success, and corporate communications on messaging and branding initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in public relations, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.

• Demonstrated success in media relations and crisis management, especially in technology and healthcare sectors.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives and present ideas effectively.

• Experience in team management and promoting a collaborative work environment.

• Skilled in PR analytics tools and assessing media impact.

• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

• Enthusiasm for innovation and assisting organizations in leveraging data for informed decision-making.
