Power Systems Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver applied electrical engineering and technical expertise to clients

• Conduct assessments of electric power systems within the realm of power system engineering

• Evaluate findings and compile written reports detailing results and proposals

• Implement electrical design enhancements primarily aimed at supporting upgrades

• Engage with customers on-site to review and identify their specific needs

• Develop Engineering cost estimates and bid proposals

• Offer technical support and ensure quality control for designated projects

• Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience

• 0-2 years of relevant experience

• Capability to register as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in California

• Experience with ETAP or SKM software is considered an asset

• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication of technical subjects

• Ability to manage small to medium studies and projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
