Power Platform Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain applications utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform, which includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse.

• Create Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages solutions.

• Connect Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, and various other enterprise data sources.

• Develop custom components, plugins, PCF controls, and APIs using C#, JavaScript, and Power Platform tools.

• Implement role-based security measures and adhere to Power Platform security best practices.

• Lead a team of 4 to 6 developers while mentoring junior team members.

• Establish coding standards, deployment processes, and application lifecycle management best practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

• Present technical solutions and project updates to both technical and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of comprehensive IT experience in software development and application delivery.

• More than 5 years of practical experience in developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Required hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.

• Proficient in C#, JavaScript, Power Platform Plugins, PCF Controls, and custom APIs.

• Familiarity with React, Node.js, or other JavaScript frameworks is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

• Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400) certification is mandatory; PL-600 certification is preferred.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
