
Power BI Developer – Supply Chain, Manufacturing, SAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and Fabric solutions with an emphasis on performance, usability, and storytelling.
• Convert supply chain and manufacturing needs into data models and visualizations, including inventory, production, procurement, logistics, OEE, OTIF, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Ingest and transform data from SAP ERP and other systems into well-structured data marts and datasets utilizing SQL, Power Query, and Fabric or Azure data services.
• Write and enhance SQL, DAX, and, where applicable, MDX queries, focusing on performance tuning and debugging.
• Implement and maintain ETL and ELT processes to guarantee timely and high-quality data delivery.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and finance stakeholders to comprehend processes and KPIs, refine requirements, and enhance dashboards.
• Apply best practices in BI for data modeling, semantic layer design, row-level security, usability, and governance.
• Integrate data from APIs and web services to enrich datasets and automate refresh processes.
• Document solutions and provide training and handover as necessary.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and the Microsoft data stack.
• Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL, DAX, and optionally MDX queries.
• Experience with query optimization and performance troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience in creating interactive dashboards and impactful visualizations.
• Solid background in data analysis, data modeling, and data mart design.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytical architectures.
• Practical experience with SAP ERP data within a supply chain or manufacturing context, ideally covering MM, SD, and PP.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or similar.
• Familiarity with Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob or ADLS storage, or Fabric lake houses and pipelines.
• Experience integrating data from APIs and web services.
