This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Designing and leading clinical orientation and onboarding initiatives for newly hired providers.
• Providing ongoing clinical education to physicians and advanced practice providers within the organization's skilled nursing, post-acute, and long-term care facilities.
• Overseeing and managing our Learning Management System (LMS), which includes course development, user enrollment, completion tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborating with operations and clinical leadership to assess training requirements and identify performance deficiencies.
• Ensuring adherence to CMS regulations and clinical best practices pertinent to skilled nursing, post-acute, and long-term care environments.
• Supporting quality improvement efforts through targeted educational initiatives.
• Keeping training materials, competency assessments, and documentation current.
• Instructing providers on CPT E/M code selection and documentation according to the updated AMA guidelines.
• Teaching providers about billing for Advanced Care Planning and other time-based codes.
• Acting as the clinical liaison for providers after they complete clinical onboarding through LMS training modules, offering immediate assistance with scenario-based clinical and regulatory inquiries.
• Tracking updates to CMS regulations, AMA coding standards, and SNF-specific requirements, and signaling those updates for curriculum adjustments.
• 10% travel required.
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure; FNP, Adult, or Geriatric certification is preferred.
• At least 3 years of clinical practice experience as a rendering provider in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or post-acute and long-term care setting.
• Proven capability to educate and train physicians and advanced practice providers on clinical documentation, regulatory standards, and billing procedures within the post-acute care context.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the ability to create, organize, and report on digital learning content.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage various audiences.
• Willingness to travel regionally to facility locations as required.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• Direct experience as a rendering provider in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of CPT E/M coding guidelines and SNF-specific documentation and regulatory requirements.
