This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist the sales and services team by managing the commercial offerings.
• Transform customer inquiries and tender opportunities into compliant and profitable service contracts.
• Enhance the capabilities of the Parts & Services sales organization to effectively sell service contracts.
• Align contract procedures with global standards and aid sales teams in implementing updates.
• Create commercial strategies, frameworks, offerings, and bid responses.
• Facilitate sales and service operations across various business functions during the contract award and transition phases.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to promote and position offerings to clients.
• Convert technical service capabilities into persuasive customer value propositions.
• Track sales performance and enhance processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure commercial compliance within CRM and manage intricate contracts.
• Drive revenue and gross profit targets in collaboration with the National Services Manager.
• Keep abreast of industry trends that influence services and customers.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Execute other relevant tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree/Technical Diploma or comparable work experience.
• Previous sales experience is advantageous.
• Experience in the mining industry, particularly in maintenance and/or contract management, is beneficial.
• Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Salesforce.
• Ability to collaborate as part of a cohesive, diverse team.
• Flexible and self-driven with a proven record of initiative.
• Capability to understand customer business processes.
• Strong customer relations and active listening abilities.
• Highly developed time management and organizational skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Valid passport.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and promote Sandvik service contracts.
