Portfolio Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Monitor the performance of Nautilus’ solar power plant on a daily basis.

• Manage and document alerts and cases from the plant for follow-up actions.

• Organize and process Operations & Maintenance (O&M) expenses using Netsuite.

• Schedule and oversee the deliverables associated with preventative maintenance inspections.

• Collaborate closely with Nautilus’ Portfolio Operations Managers and O&M partners to enhance plant performance continuously.

• Assist in the preparation of compliance reports for management and financing partners.

• Aid in the onboarding process for new plants, including managing documents, data entry, and validation.

• Provide support for special projects as required.

• Facilitate the Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and analysis for third-party Operations and Maintenance (O&M) partnerships.

• Contribute to the development of tools, procedures, and business relationships aimed at reducing Nautilus maintenance costs over time.

• Ensure compliance with relevant warranties.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a 2-year degree is required, with a technical degree being highly preferred.

• At least 1 year of relevant solar management experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Excel with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Work hours are from 8 am to 4 pm EST, with occasional on-call weekends for site monitoring.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with various levels and functions within the organization, as well as with external stakeholders such as banks, lawyers, customers, and contractors.

• Capability to work independently in a collaborative, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

• Competence in managing complex tasks.

• Project-oriented with a focus on completing assignments punctually.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are necessary.

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
