This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the main point of contact for a diverse portfolio of projects, fostering robust relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-departmental coordination among sales, finance, contracts, staffing, and delivery teams.
• Ensure the effective execution of projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
• Promote accountability for all program requirements, which include technical, financial, and performance outcomes.
• Proactively identify, manage, and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Oversee resource management, contract deliverables, and financial tracking (labor, costs, forecasting).
• Ensure conformity with contractual obligations while maintaining precise program reporting.
• Lead program reviews, offering updates on progress, risks, and overall performance.
• Conduct readiness assessments to confirm adequate staffing and support before project initiation.
• Create Statements of Work (SOWs), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and project plans.
• Assist with RFI/RFP submissions, including both technical and management content.
• Identify avenues for contract expansion, follow-up work, and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to outline solutions, resource requirements, and effort estimation.
• Contribute to pricing strategies and service engagement planning.
• Drive process enhancements to boost efficiency and minimize redundancy.
• 10+ years of experience in managing IT projects and teams that deliver complex solutions.
• Strong background in software development, data engineering, and system integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and FedRAMP environments.
• Knowledge of storage technologies (experience with Hitachi is a plus).
• Experience with the Shipley methodology and federal proposal processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ).
• Expertise in services pricing, cost estimation, and strategies for program growth.
• Experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently with exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong financial acumen (cost, schedule, forecasting, reporting).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
