Portfolio Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Responsible for comprehensive portfolio management, deliverables, and ensuring client relationship and satisfaction.

• Oversees and coordinates client portfolios for high-value or critical client account studies.

• Ensures that internal departments and external clients comprehend, agree upon, and adhere to project requirements.

• Facilitates the dissemination of technical information to all relevant stakeholders.

• Consults with and leverages the scientific expertise of laboratory management and technical personnel to manage portfolio deliverables.

• Organizes portfolio-wide meetings and participates in program meetings to ensure visibility and address escalations.

• Works in collaboration with Business Development and Finance to identify and pursue new opportunities for client portfolio expansion.

• Takes charge of strategic governance meetings: prepares, leads, and drives actionable outcomes.

• Engages in Tiered Accountability to aid in the mitigation of portfolio risks.

• Responsible for large or intricate portfolio contracts, contract renewals, and assists in securing new growth opportunities.

• Monitors revenue recognition for the portfolio.

• Provides training and mentorship to Program Manager I, II, and III.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Prior experience that imparts the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to excel in this role (approximately 8+ years).

• Proven experience in providing portfolio-level oversight for central laboratory studies.

• Strong skills in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.

• Advanced capabilities in project and portfolio coordination, including risk and financial oversight.

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical trial and central laboratory operations.

• Excellent analytical, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Established ability to mentor and support project management personnel in a matrixed environment.
