Pool Lifeguard

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the pool area and enforce safety regulations to avert accidents and injuries.

• Maintain vigilant observation of swimmers and respond immediately to provide help or initiate rescue operations when needed.

• React swiftly and effectively in the event of water-related emergencies, including drowning, injuries, or other medical incidents.

• Administer first aid, CPR, or any other essential life-saving techniques as trained.

• Uphold pool policies, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and organized environment.

• Communicate rules to patrons and take appropriate measures to address violations or unsafe behaviors.

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all individuals utilizing the aquatic facility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age (may vary based on local regulations).

• Hold a current lifeguard certification from a recognized certification body.

• CPR and first aid certification required.

• Excellent swimming abilities and physical fitness are essential.

• Strong observational and communication skills are necessary.

• Ability to remain composed and act swiftly in emergency situations.

• Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a similar capacity is preferred.

• Familiarity with water safety protocols and rescue techniques is important.

• Customer service-oriented with a friendly and approachable attitude.
